Sea level contribution of the Antarctic Ice Sheet with improved representation of grounding zone dynamics and ocean conditions

Dr. Hélène Seroussi is an Associate Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Her research interests are focused on better understanding and explaining ongoing changes in the cryosphere, reducing uncertainties in sea level rise using numerical modeling, and understanding interactions of ice and climate by combining process studies and state-of-the-art numerical modeling with remote sensing and in situ data. Professor Seroussi is one of the co-founders and developers of the Ice Sheet System Model, and a member of the Ice Sheet Model Intercomparison project and the Climate and Cryosphere scientific steering committee. She is the winner of several awards including research.com’s Rising Star of Science Award, the American Geophysical Union Cryosphere Early Career award, and the NASA Early Career Public Achievement Medal.
