Attributions of Past Regional Sea-Level Variations and Projection of Future Sea-Level Changes; From Grounding Lines to Coastlines: An Integrated Approach to Barystatic Sea-Level Projections

I’m interested in the drivers of regional and global sea-level changes on inter-annual to multidecadal time scales. Regional sea level often behaves different than the global mean, which is challenging for making future sea-level projections. To attribute these differences and regional patterns to physical processes, I use a wide range of models and observations. With these models and observations, we are now more and more able to explain local sea-level behavior, which results in more reliable projections of future changes in regional sea level.
